Crista Wynne, CPA, CIA, is Vice President of Finance for Brown & Root. In this role, Crista oversees financial reporting & budgeting, treasury, tax compliance, and general ledger functions. Working closely alongside business line controllers, the team manages the financial health of the organization.
With nearly 15 years of industry experience, Crista has been with Brown & Root since 2015, joining the organization after approximately eight years with CB&I, Inc. (formerly The Shaw Group Inc.), where she most recently served as a business line Senior Financial Reporting Manager & FP&A. Currently, she oversees liquidity and financial resources, external and internal consolidated financial reporting, financial compliance, budgeting, and corporate general ledger activities. Crista is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree, a Concentration in Internal Audit, and Masters of Science in Accounting degree(s) from Louisiana State University. During her career, Crista had the opportunity to gain experience from both public and private industries and has significant experience in cash forecasting and treasury, external and internal financial reporting, financial planning and budgeting, SEC reporting, internal audit, general ledger accounting, financial analysis, accounting for joint ventures, fixed assets, and various technical accounting topics including acquisition and divestiture accounting.
Crista currently leads a fundraising team for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), coaches volleyball for a local private school, and her hobby is mixed media art.
